J. C. Cameron Brueckner, Director/Producer
J. C. Cameron Brueckner is Partner and lead filmmaker for Cloak and Dagger Productions. Upon graduation in 2006 from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television, Brueckner produced and directed Vineyard Voices, a series of educational shorts. Shortly thereafter in 2007, he took a staff position at DuArt Film and Video in New York in order to better understand how the intricacies of post-production and finishing dictate the production process. As both producer and online editor at DuArt, Brueckner gained invaluable experience in long form filmmaking. Now managing Cloak and Dagger full time, Brueckner is delighted with new projects the company is already taking on, particularly the feature film War for the Web.
Ben Caspi, Producer
Ben knew he was destined for a career in cinema when he won the San Diego History Day Competition for his first documentary. Ben pursued his interest in film by attending the prestigious USC School of Cinema-Television on one of two merit based Dean's Scholarships. There he learned from some of the best in the business, including William Fraker (Rosemary’s Baby, Bullitt). Upon graduation, Ben began his career working for some of the top talent agencies in Hollywood such as Innovative Artists and Paradigm. In 2009, Ben left the world of representation to begin producing, starting as a co-producer on the short film Memory Lane starring Jordan Belfi (Entourage) and Michele Nordin (Californication) and associate producer on the documentary Legalize It! with award winning director Dan Katzir.
Michael Wooldridge, Writer/ Producer
Head writer and Producer of War for the Web, Michael Wooldridge’s interest in documentary film stems from his academic background in history and technology. His producorial experience has been shaped by renowned documentary filmmakers Roger Weisberg and Ric Burns. Most recently, Woolridge’s work at DuArt Film and Video as well as contract editorial positions have increased his knowledge of the post-production process. In addition to his ongoing work on War for the Web, Wooldridge continues to engage in editorial projects throughout the industry.
